About the Position: This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Fort Moore, Ga. The MCOE is located 100 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia, and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking are available.
Duties
Responsible for providing technical assistance to customers for all non-expendable equipment.
Make purchases utilizing the VISA Credit Card, for nonstandard, non-stocked items costing $25,000 or less, with a 30-day limit of $500,000.
Ascertain by examination and observation that receipts, storage, use, disposition, and accounting records conform to procedures prescribed by applicable regulations and directives.
Determine whether records reflect transactions and changes in accountability and responsibility and that internal controls are exercised to adequately protect the interest of the government.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situationsthe incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in operating a forklift, less than 10,000 lbs.

Specialized Experience GS-07: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) maintaining a complete record of supplies and equipment used by the organization; 2) providing technical supply assistance to customers; and 3) applying supply regulations to complete work tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
