Duties

Serves as senior program analyst for an assigned directorate of the Family and MWR Command. Provides subject matter expertise, assistance and direction to the Director and directorate staff in the analysis and evaluation of services and policies to determine resources, operational effectiveness and issues related to assigned programs. Interprets and proposes policy changes and develops management tools to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. Applies planning regulations, laws, and policies to the organization's business requirements. Participates in the development of reporting requirements for the preparation, collection, justification and submission of programming and financial data. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications

Experience, education and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate a mastery of and skill in applying fact finding and investigative techniques; comprehensive oral and analytical written communications; development of presentations and reports; strong organization skills; general knowledge of MWR programs and APF and NAF/UFM funding. Demonstrated ability in standard office software. Highly desirable: a Bachelor's Degree with a course of study in business administration, management, or a financially related field.
