As a Supervisory Program Manager, you will serve as the Supervisor over the Client Planning Manager team. This team coordinates the expertise of the organization in developing workplace solutions that solve thecustomer's strategic space needs and promotes GSA services.Location of position: GSA, PBS, Northwest/Arctic Region, Planning Division in Tacoma, WA

Duties
Ensures the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are understood by the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products and services. Communicatesassignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and timeframes for completion. Reviews work upon completion.
Delegates work assignments and balances workload.
Develops performance measures.
Oversees or leads discussions with representatives of client agencies regarding project requirements, needs, building limitations and functional use of space to determine the most economical solution and to meet the operational needs of the occupants. Collaborates with customer agencies' top officials.
Provides strategic advice, recommendations and solutions to and/or resolving complex issues for PBS clients, performing two sets of functions - strategic account management and strategic space planning functions.
Works closely with national and regional GSA client representatives, and a variety of other GSA specialists to ensure comprehensive and seamless client support.
Performs overall program management for the team’s planning projects including business management from the preliminary planning stage through requirements package delivery to execution offices, and maintenance of strategic client intelligence during design, construction, commissioning, and building occupancy stages.
Responsible for developing, updating and maintaining planning workload trackers to ensure delivery of planning packages in a timely manner.
Manages financial aspects from a planning standpoint to include preparation, negotiation, presentation, approval, and communication of pricing, occupancy agreements, preliminary information on reimbursable work authorizations, and project budget. Presents options/solutions to customer based on incumbent's personal knowledge of customer's current and future requirements. Recommends alternatives to meet customerrequirements. Negotiates and coordinates project plans, budget objectives and schedules with management of affected customer agencies to establish and/or manage customer expectations.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience in customer account support which includes researching, developing, planning, executing and managing strategies to achieve customer support goals; and establishing and maintaining relationships in consideration of conflicting customer requirements.
