As a Supervisory Realty Services Program Specialist, you will serve as the Branch Chief of the Lease Program and Policy Branch, and provide supervision over employees responsible for programs that include, realty services, onboarding, training, measures, knowledge management, process improvements, and data. Location of position: GSA, Public Buildings Service, Northwest/Artic Region, Leasing Division We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

Develops, communicates, and executes detailed plans to manage existing, or implement new, realty initiatives and to reach realty related goals. Supervises the realty services program activities, ensuring standardization of the program by continuously monitoring actions, furnishing periodic policy updates and instruction, and providing recommendations to management on matters requiring changes in organization, policy, or procedures. Provides review and central processing to ensure the accuracy of lease project details in the system of record and business database information; Controls/manages lease acquisition and space assignment records and files; Facilitates, champions, implements, and monitors the use of related tools and resources. Facilitates, champions, implements, and monitors use of the regional and national leasing tools; Leads presentations and/or discussions of various tools to a variety of audiences, as requested; Performs Smartsheet management, develops informational dashboards utilizing systems of record, systems applications, and other data management, processing and analysis tools within the region. Plans work schedules, to ensure an even flow and distribution of work; make changes in organization of work or assignment of functions to positions to improve workflow and productivity. Conducts on the-job training for employees and keeps them informed of pertinent policy and procedural changes relative to personnel safety, security, etc. Maintains knowledge and understanding of affirmative action goals. Develops employees’ performance standards and makes formal appraisal of work. Gives advice, counsel and/or instructions to employees on both work and administrative matters. Identifies developmental and training needs of employees, provides or arranges for needed development or training.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
  • Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
  • Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
  • Register with the Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience managing a reality services program that includes experience:• Serving as technical advisor to upper management regarding program effectiveness, performance, and progress;• Measuring, evaluating, and implementing program performance measures;• Directing, leading and/or carrying out realty projects; and• Planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing work of realty employees and/or serving as a team lead of a realty project team.
