As a Client Planning Management Officer, you will develop effective strategies to best position various PBS business lines to provide effective and timely services to customers.Location of position: GSA, PBS, Northwest Arctic Region, Planning Division We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

Identifies and as necessary, elevates issues for major stakeholder (e.g. top management, agency/corporate customers, financial institutions, the Office of Management and Budget, and Congress) discussion and action, and addresses needs for new products and services to meet emerging needs. Articulates planning decisions and persuades major stakeholders of the soundness of his/her team's solutions and strategies to the Division Director or customer management officials. Serves as principal advisor to the Division Director on regional planning activities and related issues impacting clients and/or client relationships. Represents the Division Director and/or PBS Regional Commissioner (RC) at conferences and in contacts with high-level officials of other government agencies, GSA officials in the Region and in Central Office and representatives of local, public, and private groups on matters and concerns pertaining to customer relationships, account management, project management and any other interrelated issue with the execution of client workplace solutions for which incumbent's staff plays a strategic, analytical or implementation role. Advises the Division Director and/or RC on important matters related to program areas and on the analysis and administration of all customer engagement-related program resources. Participates with the Division Directors in formulating long range customer plans. Provides input and recommendations concerning project operations, significant trends, recurring problems, and similar management concerns. Collects and disseminates best practices and process improvements related to customer-focused activities and service innovations. Participates with the Division Directors in formulating long range customer plans. Takes a lead role in interaction with the staff in the Customer Engagement division within the National Office of Portfolio Management and Customer Engagement (Customer Planning Division; Customer Programs Division; Customer Support and Operations; and National Client Executive Division) in the development and execution of targeted customer strategies at the regional level. Performs the following key responsibilities personally or through subordinate staff and cross divisional partners:. Develops effective tools to measure PBS performance (including the development and implementation of customer surveys), and communicates these findings within the organization, and. Manages the regional client planning and account management program, ‘utilizing the Account Management Playbook’ to engage with customer agencies and manage ongoing customer relationships. Performs a broad range of strategic planning, program and account management, expert analysis and client interface/relationship building for the PBS organization Recommends, manages and/or evaluates the following activities: client coverage strategy for consistency and delivery of the client planning and account management program, and the PBS client database system, client vision and/or focus at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is planning, directing and coordinating marketing, customer service and business development programs (such as multimedia publications, special events, customer surveys, bench marking studies; and/or account management) for a major real estate organization.
