You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) in the Corporate Business and Analysis Group/DITAC Dept/Business Ops Div/Customer Service Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will provide financial analysis relating to services/product being performed and/or delivered You will monitor DITAC ticketing groups\queues to ensure work is being completed in a timely manner and in accordance with program best practices and requirements. You will create, update, and maintain policy and procedures for DITAC IT service delivery standards and process and procedures. You will develop and train IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, system processes and procedures. You will lead customer requirement meetings to onboard and architect customer solutions.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DS-03=GS 09/10) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: Managing customer relationship portfolio management tasking to include Business Agreements relative to induction to sustainment of any IT requirements. Leading customer requirement meetings to onboard and architect customer solutions. Leading rate development and service definition for fiscal year services and agreements. Developing business plans for service delivery approval and funding. Managing the Command ELA program. Managing asset lifecycle for Department asset program in support of purchase, receiving, processing, and tracking. Leading operational efforts to align Department programs with Command policy and procedures.
