You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST of NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
You will develop work processes to improve human resources service delivery to customers.
You will attend meetings to provide guidance on human resources policies and procedures.
You will balance multiple competing priorities, input RPAs, and update internal databases and tracking systems.
You will be computer proficient in (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Adobe) You will have experience communicating verbally and in writing.
You will be able to work well with internal and external stakeholders (employees, supervisors, colleagues).
You will consult with customers on human resources issues.
You will work with employees and supervisors throughout the recruitment, preemployment and onboarding process.
You will provide human resources guidance and support in a federal higher education environment.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Utilize HR concepts, regulations and laws. 2.) Serve as a consultant to managers and employees in providing administrative HR services to organizations served. 3.) Interpret HR laws in order to provide advice and guidance. 4.) Analyze HR concepts in solving higher education HR problems and issues and recommend solutions

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
