This position is in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), Office of Pesticide Programs, Pesticide Re-Evaluation Division, Certification and Worker Protection Branch. About: OCSPP.
This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.*Work-from-home flexibilities may be authorized as described in the Benefits section.

Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as analyzing technical information related to pesticide use; developing environmental policies and/or regulations to address risk to human health; and collaborating with internal and/or external stakeholders regarding pesticides.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: 1) Ability to advise on pesticide programs or policies; 2) Skill in policy evaluation; 3) Ability to advise on public health and pesticide use; 4) Skill in negotiation; 5) Skill in oral communication; 6) Ability to liaise; 7) Skill in problem solving; 8) Skill in written communication.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
