Duties
Serve as Human Resources (HR) Specialists performing strength management to support Army Readiness
Conduct studies, prepares and coordinates special actions and corresponds with supported units.
Provide Technical advice and guidance in support of a wide variety of military HR programs.
Conduct research and analysis on information inside officer personnel management systems.
Review and analyze HR systems to obtain information concerning officer inventory, authorizations and determine requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Position requires occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 20% of the time.
- Position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the requirement has previously been met.

Specialized Experience GS 12 grade level: One year of specialized experience which includes studying the structure and/or functions of organizations, to resolve complicated problems affecting major agency administrative programs and requirements; proposing new organizational structures, realignment of functions, and/or staffing levels, to improve efficiency. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
Education
Some Federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for required experience to qualify. For this position, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone. Substitution of education for experience is NOT permitted.
