You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (Requirements Program Manager) within the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT and SUSTAINMENT (FM&S) CORE in the PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTORATE of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.

Duties
You will directly supervise Asbestos and Call Center programs.
You will coordinate NAVFAC and CNIC related initiatives with installations.
You will oversee facility inventory and related metrics and utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), databases, and spreadsheets to track work.
You will coordinate and partner with customers to identify and prioritize facility inspection requirements and obtain funding.
You will perform the following duties to include but not limited to Condition Based Maintenance Program Oversight, Infrastructure Condition Assessment Program, interacting between upper echelons and Public Works Departments.
You will develop and implement corrective actions to improve the performance of the Inspection Programs.
You will supervise some or all Facilities Inspectors and LCOs.
You will be in charge of training and perform duties in direct support of Facility Management/Operations Specialists and Requirements Branches.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and programmatic oversight in conducting inspections of facility and utility infrastructure (elevators, boilers, cathodic protection, etc.).
