About the Position: This position supervises the Grounds and Structures area for Public Works Directorate with responsibility over work operations, planning, materials, equipment and employees needed.

Duties

Serves as the technical and administrative supervisor over the Grounds and Structures Section, providing work instructions to employees for daily engineering equipment operator tasks. Checks work in progress and upon completion for compliance with established instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods and deadlines Determines equipment, supplies, and maintenance required and assures that material is ordered and delivered to work sites in order to not delay work. Advises workers on proper procedures and techniques to be used based on the nature of assignment. Plans weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates. Conducts interviews, performance appraisals, counsels employees on problems and schedules and approves leave of subordinates.

Requirements
