Duties

Execute National Military Strategy by strategically programming and planning prepositioning warfighting stock budget for critical worldwide locations. Participate in overseeing logistics operations in regards to planning and programming in support of management, readiness, reporting, requirements determination and maintenance of the worldwide Army Prepositioned Stock (APS) Stockpiles. Provides oversight of programming, planning, and budgeting in assigned areas of responsibility in the execution of a variety of operations (e.g. receipt, storage, inspection, accountability, repair, maintenance and reimbursable programs). Conduct reviews on policy guidance and procedures applicable to government logistics operations Army prepositioned Stock Program for compliance and programming purposes. Working directly with Strategic Planning Officers (internal and external to the organization) in the development/execution of APS Strategy initiatives. Conduct analysis on APS Operational Plan (OPLAN) strategy and concept plans for emerging missions, performance trend analysis, and operations in order to assist in defining, planning, and programming the APS Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
