You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) Operations Center in the Transformation Program Office.

Duties
You will perform technical examination and HR Talent Management services.
You will evaluate data in conjunction with the mission, types of positions, and staffing plans of Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR).
You will provide clarity and insight into organizational needs and provide data points that feed into multi-year human capital plans.
You will assist with the accomplishment of a wide variety of projects, requiring HR functional knowledge and expertise.
You will perform special studies to analyze overall or program specific human resources operations, to identify problem areas, and to develop solutions for improving efficiency, accuracy, and quality of services.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least three (3) years of general experience that includes one (1) year of experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; Plan and organize work; and Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
