You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Unmanned Maritime Systems Program Office (PMS 406), or Mission Modules Program Office (PMS 420) or Guided Missile Frigate (FFG(X)) Program Office (PMS 515) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS. The PEO has acquisition responsibility and management accountability for Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Sea Frames, Fleet Introduction, Unmanned Maritime Systems, LCS Mission Modules, Mine Warfare, and Frigate.
Duties
You will participate in the planning, organizing, and coordination of projects/programs through designated phases of the acquisition life cycle by performing routine and recurring acquisition and contract management efforts.
You will manage and lead contracting actions including drafting and executing competitive and sole-source Requests For Proposals (RFPs).
You will author Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), acquisition strategies, acquisition plans and source selection evaluations.
You will lead the development of key acquisition documentation.
You will serve on and lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups composed of various functional disciplines engaged in developing and recommending acquisition and contracting implementation plans.
You will communicate clear, consistent programmatic messaging through externally focused documentation like program briefs and budget exhibits.
You will project major project milestones and events necessary to complete the strategic implementation of a contracting effort.
You will analyze procedures, organizational structure, and other subjects of management that are characteristically unstable, wide in scope, and composed of many high-level, complex tasks.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating or developing acquisition program business process strategies (e.g., financial, contractual, programmatic).
