About the Position: Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) provides global contracting support to a diverse customer base in support of the Joint Warfighter.
Duties
Performs planning to develop Property Program functions to include acquisition, administration, and enforcement programs in support of the Technical and Logistics Services.
Reviews individual local programs to insure policy compliance, and technical support for the field in the area of property record content and management.
Determines impact of delays to develop alternative actions necessary to adjust for any scheduling delays to minimize impacts.
Ensures leadership is informed about any delays or potential problems.
Develops, implements, and sustains the Command Supply Discipline Program and oversees the execution of the Enterprise Lifecycle Management plan.
Manages Logistics readiness of the organization by coordinating with personnel across the organization.
Oversees supply support, equipment management, property accountability, transportation services and maintenance management.
Develops logistics action plan, monitors planning activities and progress to ensure scheduled milestones and strategies are met.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.

To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Developing logistical requirements necessary to ensure readiness of the organization; (2) Assisting in drafting logistics plans within established policies and guidelines; (3) Experience performing cost estimates to evaluate contract performance; And (4) Assisting in providing recommendations on changes to automated systems and business processes that will increase efficiencies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
