You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in PMS443 of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12289071-24-KH. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.

Duties

You will develop reports, analysis, processes, and procedures for monitoring of logistic product support. You will develop plans of action indicating requirements/tasks and justification for proposed approach, cost, funding, manpower, facilities, milestone schedule and required coordination with other organizations and activities. You will prepare preliminary program budgets to identify work year projections, time and performance constraints and facility requirements. You will develop logistics program plans (requirements, allocation and distribution) to establish program funds assigned to Field Activities, OEMs and Logistics Commands. You will monitor all expenditures and trends pertaining to the agreed upon cost, time and performance constraints; resolves changing priorities and external program variations to minimize negative impact to the program. You will develop reports and briefs describing objectives, procedures, and results of the new or improved developments, concepts, and/or techniques in support of logistics products. You will track tasking to ensure key milestones are met and focuses leadership attention on areas where additional resources are required. You will support PMS 443 in developing and coordinating program and acquisition documentation required to meet DOD 5000 regulations. You will develop and implement programmatic strategy, policy and plans to support planning, processes, and execution of related actions supporting overall program execution. You will manage resources including labor, materials, contracts, and industrial support to accomplish specific program objectives within schedule and budget.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-02 (GS-11) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing, monitoring, evaluating, or coordinating product support readiness to support specified mission or program requirements for successful logistical support.
