You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the TECHNICAL DIVISION (SP20), LOGISTICS SUPPORT COORDINATION BRANCH (SP206) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Duties
You will lead, manage and develop life cycle cost analyses projections for SWS material support.
You will conduct planning involving operations research and systems analysis to assure adequate resources are available to ensure success of program execution.
You will keep abreast of changes in material/supply chain management technology and determines how new technology and processes could be used to better support SWS/HOE TRIDENT logistics requirements.
You will review, plans and responsibilities are modified as needed to efficiently support the US CMC and COLUMBIA Build program as it progresses through its New Construction cycle.
You will develop funding and manpower resource requirements and for Program Management and Execution of SSP funded supporting government activities.
You will develop and draft SWS/CMC material support policies, especially in the areas of new construction supply support, maintenance support, supply, configuration accounting and logistics technical data.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing cost studies and research to analyze materials or supply chain management technologies for the enhancement of logistics requirements and program execution.
