You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Submarine Logistics and Product Support Directorate, SEA 07L, of NAVSEA PMO.

Duties

You will serve as senior expert and consultant with authority to manage logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions for IT and digital data systems. You will manage collaborative effort to establish and maintain an instance of Web ATIS on the classified network. You will track and manage Cyber issues and Cyber certifications that impact logistics systems in the submarine community, afloat and ashore. You will lead, interfaces, and participates with various Working Groups and Integrated Process Teams responsible for acquisition and maintenance of the shipboard information systems hardware infrastructure. You will serve as lead technical manager for the transition of submarine logistics, technical data, and LTD functions, products, and records from legacy IT systems into the Model Based Product Support (MBPS) suite of applications. You will lead the TEAMSUB MBPS Working Group for the transition from legacy LogIT and then for sustainment problems/issues resolutions. You will develop, assist, track, and report metrics for user accounts on MBPS for TEAMSUB users and data providers. You will address and resolve IT-related logistics issues shipboard and ashore.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing logistics product support and analyzing program data to ensure programmatic efficiency in support of an organization.
