You will serve as a TRAINING ADMINSTRATOR ASSISTANT in the Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Protection Office (108), of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will assist the Lead Training Administrator in the Occupational Safety Health and Environmental training programs to include research development, concurrence, approval of all training presentations, and delivery of all C108 presentations.
You will assist in developing the Occupational Safety Health and Environmental training schedule and allocationof required facilities and equipment.
You will utilize course evaluation findings to determine additional skills or training required to achieve optimum program objectives.
You will ensure emergent training bulletins are administered and conducted to meet requirements of informing TRIREFFAC-KB personal of the latest changes, problem areas, improper work practices, regulatory changes and changes in local policies.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience developing and administering Occupational Safety Health and Environmental training program in terms of command training goals, cost quality, timeliness of completion, coordination of all training services, materials, equipment, classrooms, administration of completed maintenance and trade training.
Experience using critical safety programs such as Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Energy Control, Mishap Reporting and Investigating, Respiratory Protection and HAZARDOUS Material/HAZARDOUS Waste.
Experience handling assessments, surveys, drills, review of mishaps and internal audits as appropriate to ensure adherence to current Navy, Federal and State regulations to determine the Occupational Safety Health and Environmental training needs.
Experience managing outreach safety programs such as OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) and American Society of Safety Professionals Council.
Experience conducting safety education including detection and prevention of fires during submarine maintenance periods and hazards of fire on submarines that are loaded or contain ordnance.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
