The selectee for this position will serve as a Training Instructor in the Hull Division, Repair Department of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will initiate, develop and present requested courses to personnel both military and civilian.
You will prepare lesson plans, student handouts, quizzes, and other training materials based upon course objectives.
You will be responsible for the improvement and modification of training for assigned courses.
You will evaluate instructional approach, develops student evaluation criteria and evaluates performance in training.
You will provide instruction in wide variety of topics pertaining to submarine maintenance and repair.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience applying education and training principles, techniques, and practices; ability to instruct others in in safety and quality maintenance standards of submarine structural components; experience developing, updating, and maintaining courses OR I have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR three full years of progressively higher level education leading to such a degree or LL.M. if related, OR I have a combination of education and experience as described above.
