About the Position: This position falls under the Defense Health Agency Tidewater Market, at the McDonald Army Health Center under the Director for Resource Management-Logistics-Property Management, performing clerical and technical duties that support the operation of supplies and services, to include, overseeing two Medical Surgical and one Pharmaceutical prime vendor accounts.

Duties

Develop plans for storage and space utilization, protection and issue of materials and substances in accordance with all applicable guidelines. Responsible for movement of stock and maintenance of stock level inventories. Order materiel for the health center and its satellite offices through various systems and funding methods. Create and maintain files regarding ordering, suppliers and funding. Procure controlled substances from designated vendors and ensures proper receiving procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Pre-employment physical required.
  • This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
  • Immunization screening is required.
