About the Position: Expert analyst building and maintaining requirements and authorization documents. Create Force Documents for HQDA manpower, equipment, and force structure decisions. Develop Tables of Organization and Equipment (TOEs) from Unit Reference Sheets (URS)/Force Design Updates (FDUs), Modified Tables of Organization and Equipment (MTOEs), Augmentation TDAs (AugTDAs), and Basis of Issue Plans (BOIPs). Ensure HQDA guidance, business rules, and regulations, at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Duties
Ensure standardization, integration, and quality assurance of Force Documentation.
Participate in evaluating results of documentation and design reviews.
Use complex and unique office automation software to extract data for analysis.
Evaluate major processes and programs including force documentation.
Use manpower, and management information systems to analyze and evaluate various concepts.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Position requires completion of one (1) year probationary period unless the requirement has been previously met.
- Position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 5% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

This position is developmental and may be filled at the GS-12 or GS 13 level. The incumbent may be non-competitively promoted pending time-in-grade requirements and demonstrated ability to perform the next level/grade duties. The full performance level for this position is GS-13.
