About the Position: Serves as the Program Manager for the Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness (CSF2) Program and Ready & Resilient (R2) Chief of Training in the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9, Directorate of Prevention, Resilience & Readiness (DPRR), located in Arlington, Virigina. A relocation incentive may be authorized subject to provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations.

Duties

Responsible for staffing, managing, planning, directing, evaluating and resourcing all actions relating to the Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness (CSF2) training program. Manage the operations ($38M/year contract) for 16 existing CSF2 Training Centers, and new CSF2 Training Centers, and their associated personnel across a geographically dispersed network, including locations outside the continental United States. Provide CSF2 program and R2 Training and Education briefings for both the Army community and the general population. Provide guidance in the selection and/or development of appropriate tools, methodologies, and techniques required to perform resilience and performance enhancement training. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • SECRET CLEARANCE - You must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
  • Incumbent must be a Master Resilience Trainer-C (Level I) certified within 6 months from the date of employment.
