About the Position: Serve as a Budget Analyst in the Programs Management Branch with responsibility and authority for the formulation, justification, and execution, tracking and monitoring of the Jacksonville District's Civil Works Program. This is a developmental position and has promotion potential to the GS-11 grade level. May be selected at any grade level GS-07 or GS-09 or GS-11 target level.

Duties

Responsible for the formulation, justification, and execution, tracking and monitoring of the Jacksonville District's Civil Works Program. Review and interprets new and established directives, instructions and regulations Interpret complex annual budget regulations, policies, laws and guidelines. Prepare draft and final justification documents.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires FMC02 - Financial Management Certification Level 2 within 24 months of appointment.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
