You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUDGET DIVISION of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.

Duties

You will monitor the execution of labor, travel, contracts, and material budgets composed of multiple types of funding received from various sources. You will analyze the authorization, commitment, obligation, expenditure and liquidation of funds to ensure the funds are spent in accordance with annual financial plans and program objectives, and that headquarters obligation goals are met. You will review, analyze, edit, coordinate, consolidate and submit annual and multi-year budget submissions for assigned programs and organizations. You will identify and interpret changes in budgetary directions, regulations, constraints, objectives, accounting structure and funds availability, which affect the accomplishment of program objectives.

• This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing a variety of dutuies related to budgetry process of resources authorized for the operation and maintenance of the air station.
