You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY OFFICER in the SECURITY OFFICE; CORPORATE OPERATIONS of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.
Duties
You will serve as the Command Security Officer and expert on information, personnel, industrial, physical and force protection security matters for all locations where the command exercises contract administration services for government contracts.
You will develop and implement internal policy, instructions, procedures and control systems for accountability, stowage, reproduction, safeguarding , transmission, and destruction of classified material.
You will maintain liaison and coordination with external security and intelligence agencies, departments and activities including military, state and local law enforcement offices in the contractor's assigned geographic area.
You will direct the command's physical security and loss prevention program, and develop and maintain a Physical Security Plan.
You will work closely with the Federal, State, Local, and the Prime Contractor Security Director at each physical location, on all security and anti-terrorism measure issues.
You will supervise the Security Team, including the Command Information Assurance Manager (IAM), the Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Officer (ATFPO) and the DEERS/RAPIDS workstation operators.
You will be responsible for overall planning and assignment of work, evaluating performance of subordinates, reviewing completed work, providing and recommending training, and advising and assisting in solving work problems.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector administering a security program to ensure compliance with security policies, procedures or processes for the protection of personnel, information, physical or industrial security from unauthorized disclosure, misuse or loss.
