You will serve as a Physical Security (PS), Anti-Terrorism & Force Protection (AT & FP) and Operations Security (OPSEC) Officer in the Corporate Operations of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.
Duties
You will plan, coordinate and control all phases of the Physical Security (PS), Anti-Terrorism (AT), Force Protection (FP), and Operational Security (OPSEC) Programs.
You will develop the physical security/force protection plan and ensure it contains response procedures for various types of terrorist incidents ( e.g., hostage barricade, bomb threat, kidnapping, sabotage, etc.)
You will establish the SUPSHIP Bath Force Protection Working Group and OPSEC Working Group consisting of government and industry personnel.
You will plan, coordinate, and conduct AT and FP missions for all ship movements and christenings with local, state, and federal law enforcement and military agencies.
You will ensure the coordination, development and implementation of anti-terrorism and OPSEC orientation for new employees.
You will ensure personnel ordered to a DoD-Designated High-Physical Threat or Potential Physical Threat Country for temporary duty receive terrorist awareness and travel security briefings prior to departure.
You will represent the Command at security conferences, meetings and in dealings with higher echelon commands and commercial industrial organizations on AT, FP and OPSEC related matters
You will evaluate threats through analysis of counter intelligence products and contacts and recommends defensive postures to counter those threats.
You will serve as the Anti-Terrorism Training Officer ensuring annual training is conducted and providing general and theater specific terrorist briefs
You will review contractor plant protection plans for contractual compliance.
You will conduct physical surveys to ensure contractor security force is in compliance with their plan, and create documents detailing results/findings of these reviews and surveys for forwarding to the Supervisor and Contracting Officer.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing guidance for a security program (e.g. Information, Personnel, Physical, and Industrial Security, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP), or Operations Security (OPSEC)) to protect or safeguard classified, sensitive, or restricted information, materials, or property from unauthorized personnel, disclosure, theft, or espionage.
