Duties
Manage and control IT Asset lifecycle following approved laws, regulation, and Policy.
Manage a team of IT Specialists in IT Asset Management.
Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
Plan and direct Team activities involving defining, managing, and coordinating procurement of IT requirements.
Prepare supporting processes and procedural instructions to assure successful testing, accreditation, implementation, and dispositioning of IT Assets.
Ensure Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), and other IT Asset inventory tools are utilized and monitored.

- Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the NH-03 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 OR GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Expert experience in Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS); receiving, transferring, inventory and asset dispositioning
Knowledge of DPAS reporting and appropriation
Knowledge of Unit Identification Code (UIC) site creating process and Asset ID creation

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
