This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senoir Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - ACQC/PEO TRANSPORT.
Duties
Develop integrated information requirements and integrated architecture, configurations, policies, procedures, plans and programs and budget to support requirements for the information management.
Develop acquisition strategies, program planning, technology infusion, milestone review preparation, requirements allocation and configuration management.
Develop and maintain comprehensive strategic plans; assesses policy needs and develops policies to govern IT activities; provides policy guidance to IT management, staff, and customers.
Prepare IT budgets; identifies and addresses IT workforce planning and management issues; conducts audits of IT programs and projects.
Develop information system techniques, establishes criteria, and makes recommendations when procedures/guidelines do not exist for telecommunication and automation resources/requirements impacting worldwide systems.
Requirements

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance levels for this position.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450
- This is a drug testing position.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Developing and implementing systems diagnostic and functionality; assessing server performance and configuration problems; developing procedures for responding to new threats to systems; and ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of system administration services.
