This position is located in the Financial Management Division, Office of the Assistant Register and Director of Operations, Copyright Office. The position description number for this position is 445484. The salary range indicated reflects the locality pay adjustments for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area. The incumbent of this position will work a flextime work schedule. This is a non-supervisory, bargaining unit position.

Duties

Responsible for developing recommending and implementing finance and accounting, information management, and budget policies for logistical support mission of the Copyright Office.

Qualifications

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to provide cost management and estimation program services.** Ability to perform independent cost estimate review services.** Ability to estimate the lifecycle costs of a complex program involving a multi-year acquisition. Ability to construct and monitor data accumulation models to track costs and provide evidence-based cost information to management. Ability to develop cost management policy and procedures. Ability to communicate analysis and/or recommendations through technical papers, presentations, and briefings. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
