You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Combat Systems Integration Branch of the DDG 51 Class Shipbuilding Office (PMS 400D) of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE SHIPS.
Duties
You will manage the AEGIS Shipbuilding program offices engineering, design and integration efforts for all combat system software and C5I systems as installed on board DDG 51 Aegis New Construction Ships.
You will oversee the execution of program's implementation of Turnkey process for ensuring latest and most advanced C4ISR systems during the new construction process.
You will apply subject matter expertise and knowledge of C5I, software, ship systems and acquisition program integration requirements in the execution of the Combat System Engineering and integration efforts.
You will manage and review Trial card submissions against shipbuilder requirements, ship specifications, contract drawings to ensure ship construction is IAW contract and mission requirements.
You will manage the PMS 400D5 input to the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process by reviewing baseline and post baseline design changes, local change proposals and other cost, schedule, requirement aspects related to CCB.
You will provide long range plans for the cost, performance, schedule of diverse teams and acquisition efforts within the scope of assigned areas; exercises judgment and experience to establish priorities.
You will apply accepted management practices, theories, techniques, and methodology to assigned problems/studies, which involves making use of a substantive knowledge of applicable organizations, functions, procedures, and legislation.
You will utilize innovative management practices and principles in resolving problems, planning future strategies and monitoring on-going operations.
You will conduct innovative approaches to resolve unusual/difficult issues significantly impacting important policies or Programs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (or GS-11 equivalency) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: "Analyzing or executing acquisition activities (e.g., contracts, resources, scheduling, studies, etc.) from the design to delivery of fleet new construction ships in support of a ship program."
