About the Position: Serves as the Senior Program Analyst for Military Project Management North Branch. Directs and administers the Military fiscal programming requirements for the Project Delivery Teams.

Duties

Provides guidance to team members to ensure compliance with applicable policies and constraints. Evaluates team members work to ensure that management objectives are understood and met. Interprets regulations to provide guidance to managers and team members. Advises management officials on program requirements to ensure regulations and laws are adhered to. Improves program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods. Reviews policies to ensure information is accurate. Analyzes funding data to identify potential problems. Formulates corrective action to fix problems that have been identified. Provides advice to managers regarding funding considerations and resource streams. Tracks the status of incoming funds throughout the process of establishing and closing funding lines.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 5% of the time.
