You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.

Duties

You will collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to ensure Data Management and related law, regulation, and policy are being supported and adhered. You will participate in day to day administration of operations, reviewing plans and programs for propriety and feasibility. You will identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. You will analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement. You will extract data from data sources and/or databases to support conclusions or recommendations.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1 1) Ensure the rigorous application of information security in accordance with information assurance policies, principles and practices in the delivery of services; 2) Identify strategic enterprise data needs in support of business capabilities; 3) Plans projects supporting execution of business requirements; 4) Promotes ethical handling of data, data privacy, confidentiality, and security needs to ensure and support the appropriate control of data and information; 5) Presents presentations to ensure leadership makes informed decisions. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
