This position is part of the Department of Energy,Deputy Administrator for Defense Programs, Office of Experienmental Sciences. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Program Analyst, for program development, analysis and evaluation, of comprehensive, long range, multi-year program plans, strategic objectives, operations, and related financial resource requirements for a major segment of research and development activities at a national laboratory

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NN-03, GS-12. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Examples of Specialized Experience:
1. Possess analytical skills and ability to apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of processes and systems
2. Comprehensive knowledge of the range of administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the administration of one or more important public programs
3. Skill in conducting comprehensive studies to demonstrate knowledge of application to the design and/or conduct of these types of programs
