Duties

Implement policies, procedures, and guidance for Garrison to assist with productivity and organizational improvements. Provide means of measuring process improvements based on customer feedback. Perform staff actions or conduct management analysis reviews which influence policy decisions involving garrison management. Insure strategic planning evaluation/assessments adequately and effectively address and measure key customer and operational requirements. Provides continuous improvement advisory service to garrison staff concerning major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes and administrative procedures.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5 % of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS 09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes : planning, scheduling, and conducting studies for an organization applying adaptation of analytical and statistical methods and techniques; and using a variety of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment concerning improvement of customer relationship and integrated management programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS 11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral CommunicationOrganizational AwarenessPlanning and EvaluatingProblem Solving Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09/11).
