About the Position: Serve as the Agency's Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) Program Management Official (PMO). This position is located in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Duties

Perform Audit Facilitation and Liaison duties in support of the Information and Technology (IT) Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) business processes for Army Working Capital Funds and General Funds. Identify and remediate gaps in IT systems (FISCAM) business processes/internal controls to ensure accurate financial statement reporting; provide status updates and challenges to leadership. Maintain, update and communicate the end-to-end business process requirements for all IT related audit activities. Prepare personnel and support auditor walkthroughs to include monitoring/approving responses that are submitted to the Auditor. Compile, analyze and articulate audit results in support of executive level briefings to supervisors, SES/GO leadership.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time.
