This position is in the U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of the Secretary of Transportation (OST), Office of Facilities, Information and Asset Management. The primary role of the incumbent is responsible for inventory and supply management functions such as barcoding property, personal property database management, property disposal, property acquisition, and leading the computer donation program and equipment storage.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 12, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-11 it must include:
Experience investigating and analyzing supply management problems while providing solutions in areas involving operational procedures and policy requirements.
Experience utilizing an automated supply database.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Technical Competence - Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues.
Production and Processing - Knowledge of quality control, maintaining inventory, and techniques for maximizing the distribution of goods.
Technology Application - Uses machines, tools, instruments, or equipment effectively; uses computers and computer applications to analyze and communicate information in the appropriate format.
Communications - Knowledge dissemination of information and ideas to inform via written, and oral.
