You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SE, FST DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will conduct technical reviews of contractor engineering work for redesign, design modification, complete overhaul or production of systems.
You will design and prototype TPS Hardware and software and provide technical documentation for production of designed TPSs.
You will prepare technical reports regarding completed technical project work, presenting results, conclusions and recommendations.
You will perform Engineering Investigations and complete Requests for Engineering Information in support of fleet and depot activities.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Designing and Prototyping TPS hardware and software. 2) Conducting technical reviews of contractor engineering work for redesign, design modification, complete overhaul or production of systems. 3) Preparing technical reports regarding completed technical project work. 4) Performing Engineering Investigations and completing Requests for Engineering Information in support of fleet and depot activities. 5) Utilizing knowledge of I-Level and Depot Level ATE (such as CASS) to support TPS In-Service Engineering.
