You will serve as a DIRECTOR, CORPORATE OPERATIONS in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE of NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.
This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will coordinate, integrate, lead and directly control the efforts associated with the assigned programs in a broad array of disciplines.
You will plan, organize, and direct the operations of the Directorate to include Resource Management, Business Practices, Human Capital Management, Strategic Planning and Quality Management Programs.
You will oversee the programs of the human capital lifecycle process, resource management planning, strategic planning, Directorate business practices and analysis as well as quality and continuous process improvement.
You will establish priorities and conduct planning for the facilities, equipment, manpower, and funding resources necessary to accomplish the mission.
You will review and evaluate command wide administrative operations on a continuous basis through Quality Inspections to assure strategy implementation with results that assure maximum efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of program delivery.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1) Developing administrative policies, procedures, and initiatives to create strategic plans for short-term and long-term goals regarding business and human capital strategies; 2) Analyzing situations to identify problems within administrative operations in order to provide guidance to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness; 3) Overseeing the development and implementation of strategic plans in support of the Programs and Project Management Business Process to include planning, programming, budgeting, program integration, interoperability, and oversight; 4) Preparing formal briefs to defend recommendations and decision documents regarding administrative operations; and 5) Providing technical and administrative supervision over personnel to include equal employment opportunity, safety, performance standards, conflict resolution, training programs, and workload management.
