You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PREVENTION AND RESPONSE PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the MARINE AND FAMILY PROGRAMS DIVISION of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will assess mission and work requirements and develops and/or approves program plans, goals, and objectives.
You will identify challenges and corrective actions to maintain program conformity by meeting standards, policies, timelines, and schedules.
You will review the administration and operation of the program, provides advice for improvements, and takes corrective actions.
You will establishes collaborative relationships to facilitate multi-year planning and analysis for program initiatives.
You will analyze budget plans and execution reports to identify discrepancies, needs, opportunities, and efficiencies.
You will assess program effectiveness or the improvement of complex program and management processes and systems encompassing difficult and diverse functions or issues that affect critical aspects of the
major programs of USMC.
You will supervise a group of employees performing work at the GS-12 or equivalent level and provide administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit.

- You will be required to meet any applicable credentialing or privileging requirements prior to appointment.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: identifying and integrating internal and external program issues affecting the immediate organization, such as those involving technical, financial, organizational, and administrative factors.
