You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Workforce Management and Employee Resources Division of NAVAUDSVC HQ WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will assist in management of the manpower program to include development and maintenance of position management structures consisting of position structuring and assignment of personnel to authorized billets.
You will provide advice and assistance to include performance management, employee relations, leave and pay administration, and any other related actions in personnel management.
You will represent the Naval Audit Service senior leadership in the capacity of a management advisor and human resources liaison.
You will coordinate the orientation training program, in-process new hires, advise employees of personnel-related programs, coordinate and obtain security office clearance to hire, and input all data into database and automated timesheet system.
You will assist in implementation of new programs and initiatives for program planning, policy, and personnel/workforce management.
You will draft and update standard operating procedures as required, that comply with Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regulations; and draft personnel policies and sections of the Naval Audit Service Management Handbook.
You will serve as the Assistant Security Manager, providing guidance and assistance to all levels of personnel at sites and conduct annual security training of personnel.
You will represent the Auditor General when dealing with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service to ensure accuracy of payroll records and to ensure collection of any funds owed the government
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying personnel management policies and procedures and evaluating their effectiveness
Experience analyzing organization objectives and evaluating the efficacy of personnel programs
Experience coordinating civilian personnel and training requests and new employee check-in and orientation
Experience validating manpower requirements against current and future strength
