You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the Component Control Division of the Aviation Supply Department of STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF.

Duties

You will provide in transit asset visibility of parts in the distribution and return process to support customer requirements. You will plan and direct inbound and outbound cargo movement for the installation. You will be responsible for the accurate maintenance and research of reports to identify possible cannibalizations for materials. You will review method changes, policies and procedures as they are incorporated and provides status reports and reconciliations in terms of customer requirements. You will be responsible for resolving problems and providing expert advice when dealing with repairable components. You will perform causative research to reconcile records that are not in agreement. You will plan and organize workload and is responsible for developing and maintaining methods and procedures to effectively implement program changes. You will provide administrative, technical and operational advice to customers. You will use a working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), Naval Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), electronic Repairable Management System (eRMS), and all associated data base computer programs.

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the (GS-04) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector using an automated supply system by entering information into a database to support a Logistics or Supply Department. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successfully completed four years of education above high school level.
OR
Combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
