Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

Duties

Oversees operational and administrative management of the base theatre program.  Coordinates scheduling and presentation of motion pictures, concession stand operations, unit training, special events, briefs, social and auditorium functions.  Coordinates logistical support such as equipment setup, supply availability, cleaning, decorations and marketing for all functions with various points of contact.  Prepares written agreements for logistical support.  Prepares purchase requests for procurement of supplies and/or equipment rental.  Maintains schedule of theatre events.  Demonstrates operation of theatre equipment such stage lighting, curtains, projection equipment, sound system.  May operate or oversee operation of a variety of theatre equipment for presentations.

Qualifications

Three years of experience that demonstrates performance of responsible work in supervising, scheduling and providing recreational services.  Skill to coordinate a combination of service related activities such as presentation of motion pictures, concession stand operations, unit training, special events, briefs, social and auditorium functions.  Knowledge of coordinating logistical support for events to include equipment setup, supply availability, cleaning, decorations and marketing efforts with various points of contact.  Skill to demonstrate operation of theatre equipment such stage lighting, curtains, projection equipment, sound system.  Skill to supervise employees in the accomplishment of work.
