Duties
Provides professional fitness training to authorized patrons to include Active Duty, Retirees, Family Members and Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian employees at a large command. Organizes and conducts the full range of physical fitness assessments to include but not limited to, screening and risk stratification, measurement and evaluation of an individual¿s aerobic capacity, body fat percentage, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, blood pressure, functional movement screens, and interpretation of assessment results. Provides individualized and group exercise plans.

Qualifications
A bachelor¿s degree in an academic field related to the health sciences or allied sciences, exercise physiology, kinesiology, business, or other related curricula focused on fitness assessment, or physiological adaptation to exercise and exercise program design. Skill to serve as the F45 Program Coordinator to provide professional interactive instruction to all eligible patrons aboard the station. Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator certifications. Knowledge of and/or membership in an accredited association such as: American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, American Council on Exercise, and other accredited associations to stay abreast of current practices and theories, network with SMEs and enhance the effectiveness and credibility of military programming. Skill to plan, develop, evaluate, and refine course materials and methods and techniques, and assess and improve program effectiveness. Knowledge and experience in administration of performance assessments and fitness assessments, exercise prescriptions, conducting progressive individual strength and conditioning programs, and proper exercise techniques sufficient to conduct comprehensive combat fitness programs. Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 60lbs independently and objects over 60lbs with assistance.
