This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), Learning and Diffusion Group (LDG).
As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-15, you will oversee the development and implementation of cross-model learning programs and analytics and large-scale, Center-wide improvement initiatives in support of programs driven by Section 3021 of the Affordable Care Act.
Duties
Direct the activities necessary to ensure the successful completion of planning, development, and implementation of new and/or innovative program management for DAN based heavily in continuous improvement and Human Center Design (HCD).
Delegate work assignments and required author to subordinate staff.
Interview candidates for positions in the Division and makes recommendations for appointments, promotions, or reassignments of employees.
Provide expertise and advice to partner organizations and internal stakeholders on how to strategically implement projects and ensure improvement in the quality.

In order to qualify for the GS-15 , you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: 1) Develop and sustain networks of health care industry stakeholders to implement, communicate and disseminate health care strategies and initiatives; AND 2) Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including governmental agencies or non-governmental organizations to develop and implement health policy and program e.g.(federal agencies, states, tribes, clinical experts, experts in policy, health care providers, payers, and beneficiaries); AND 3) Strategic use of data to drive large scale systems change.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
