Duties
You will serve as the Strategic Engagements Branch Head with responsibility and accountability for the performance of the branch.
You will manage an aligned, engaged, and high-performing team through leading by example and developing and executing a mission-aligned vision for the organization.
You will conduct analysis of processes and policies to ensure relevant capabilities are synchronized with the JCIDS, PPBE, and Defense Acquisition System instructions while maintaining Navy Enterprise Networks and Cybersecurity equities.
You will conduct financial analysis and financial risk analysis of investments for program requirements.
You will engage in strategic intermediate and long-term planning, coordination, and implementation oversight of cybersecurity strategies.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Cyber Policy/Strategy Planner level advanced within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing supervisory and policy planning duties. Examples of specialized experience may include most or all of the following: 1.) Leading cross-organizational engagement for the establishment and monitoring of policy requirements 2.) Reviewing costs, schedules, and performance to assess compliance with technical requirements and make recommendations for optimizing the development and fielding of new Information Technology capabilities; 3.) Coordinating with high level personnel to advocate for capabilities in the annual planning 4.) Providing a position on Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), Cybersecurity, or cyber resiliency related issues to include within annual objectives or updated policy recommendations; and 5.) Developing schedules, deliverables, staff assignments, and progress reviews as needed in order to present justifiable recommendations to leadership in a timely manner.
