You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FLEET MANPOWER BRANCH of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Duties
You will be responsible for the allocation of manpower resources.
You will provide advice on manpower execution relative to military and civilian programming actions.
You will promulgate manpower policies and procedures to assist subordinates’ activities in the management of their manpower resources.
You will initiate, review and forward TYCOM and Direct Reporters Manpower Change Requests (MCR) and TFMMS packets.
You will monitor the Navy’s Future Year Defense Plan (FYDP) ensuring that military manpower is correctly allocated.
You will create and review manpower documents to update billet and activity files.
You will review and implement Statement of Manpower Requirements (SRMs).
You will review manpower system reports and programs.
You will provide manpower data, analysis, advice, and technical support.
You will participate in the administration and management of the military manpower programming and budget programs.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying expert knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to analyze substantative manpower/mission programs.
Experience and working knowledge in Navy military manpower policies and processes.
Experience utilizing Navy manpower systems, i.e. Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS), Navy Manpower, Programming and Budget System (NMPBS), UIC Management System (UMS) as well as Microsoft Office programs, i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Word.
Experience communicating at all levels of a chain of command.
