The ideal candidate for this position will engage Federal, State, local, and/or tribal partners in interagency recovery coordination on cross-cutting topics to aid pre-recovery efforts and enable resilient recovery after a natural disaster. This candidate will support steady state initiatives on cross-agency networking and relationship building, develop an understanding of recovery resources, and assist with building internal and external capacity with recovery efforts.

To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Building and supporting cross divisional partnerships to maintain continuity, AND Coordinating pre-disaster recovery planning, technical assistance, trainings, and exercises to build recovery capabilities with stakeholders, AND Tracking and documenting progress made on interagency long-term recovery projects (i.e., completing outcome analysis, lessons learned, and best practices).
