DOE's Clean Energy Corps is made up of staff from more than a dozen offices across DOE. Duties

This series covers positions managing, supervising, leading, and/or performing administrative and management work.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.

• May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
• Positions may be filled as permanent, term, or temporary with a full-time or part-time work schedule. Pay will vary by geographic location.
• The vacancies filled through these appointments have varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret DOE "Q" clearance.
• These positions are to be filled under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA - P.L. 117-58).
• Positions may be covered by a bargaining unit. Bargaining unit will vary by departmental element, grade, and/or location.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR GS-13: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) Providing technical guidance and advice on the appropriate methods or procedures of analysis and evaluation to accomplish the mission and ensure optimum management strategy.; AND 2) Identifying operational and analytical techniques to accomplish project objectives and to produce reliable findings.; AND 3) Providing advice and guidance on alternatives and resolutions to problems and explaining to program and management analysts. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
