About the Position: Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) provides global contracting support to a diverse customer base in support of the Joint Warfighter.
Duties
Develop and implement facility planning and operations management.
Analyze projects in terms of the impact on program resource requirements.
Develop new and/or revised operating procedures and standards .
Recommend and implement action to improve efficiency of space utilization.
Monitors the project outcomes to evaluate the success of program goals and objectives.
Oversee inventory control and distribution throughout the logistics system.
Estimates and executes each projects allotted budget.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Conducting site surveys to improve efficiency of space utilization; 2) Monitoring project schedule milestones and budget planning to ensure proper resolution; 3) Managing inventory control throughout the logistics system; And 4) Experience receiving and issuing expendable property to designated representatives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Education can NOT be substituted for experience.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
